Welcome to Coventry and Warwickshire Red Rope

Coventry and Warwickshire Red Rope is a friendly walking and outdoor club. We’re a bunch of socialist and like minded people who love the outdoors. Our members go hill-walking and scrambling, country-walking and  mountain walking.

We have regular day walks, local walks, occasional pub evenings, and evening walks in the summer. Sometimes we join forces with West Midlands Red Rope for joint walks. Depending on demand we organise weekends away for more adventurous walking. We are part of national Red Rope, an outdoor club bringing together walkers and climbers who have socialist and like-minded ethics.

Red Rope has regional groups around the UK, and if you join you can take part in walks and trips organised by other regions, and national trips.

UPDATE: Currently our region has no walks planned due to COVID-19. However some regions are starting to do distanced walks – West Midlands Group has started again, with smaller numbers and socially distanced – and if you’re on our local list you’ll get updates about them.

In Cov and Warwickshire, we advertise our walks via a mailing list, so if you are interested in going on the list please contact us.
